SMARTGOLF : Free Golf App using GPS

Instruction :

- Smartgolf is the best golf rounding support software. 

- Now, let’s enjoy golf nicely drawn, unrealistic Yardage Book but perfectly supports the player by being interlocked actively with present position of player in vivid landscape of course which is filmed through high-resolution satellite photography.

- The affiliation fee is also free every year.

Its main function and special advantages :

1. Provide high-resolution map. 

  - Mark the course vividly using high-resolution satellite map.

  - You can either take Google Map or Daum Map.

  - In case of Korea, it offers the satellite map provided by Daum.

    (If you choose Google map, it would be low-resolution)

  - You need to use the satellite map provided from Google somewhere else except for in Korea.

2. The play

  - You can edit information (Par, Handicap) of the Hole.

  - It marks position of each Shot on map, providing Shot Tracking function. 

  - You can measure the distance of each Shot.

  - While Player moves, the distance between present position and Pin and the distance between Shot position

    to present position changes periodically. 

  - Automatically enlarge mode of screen is provided (From Tee and Pin, or from present position and Pin).

  - You can measure the distance from present position to goal point.

  - When play in each hole is over, you can have Skins function so that you can select and determine the

    winner. 

3. The location selection and modification

  - Depending on present situation of Golf Course, you can select position of Tee and Pin exactly. 

  - You can easily select the precise position in which Shot appears on map. 

  - It can drag position of Pin, Hole, Shot and can move (modify) them. 

4. Shot Tracking

  - During play or after play, you can precisely check what (position of Shot, distance, how many times you

    have hit) has been played precisely in each hole

5. Scorecard

  - It provides Scorecard related to the result from Play

  - Some additional functions (Penalty, Putt or extra) will be added in future.

6. Provision of Skins Mode

  - When betting simply, it is able to make group randomly by selection of Player in App. 

  - You can use it during Play and can use Skins solely.       

7. Provision of Yardage Book 

  - You search for golf course worldwide and can look around it through high-resolution satellite photograph. 

8. Map Selection

- Depending on region, you can choose either Daum Map(Korea) or Google Map(somewhere else except for in

  Korea).

9. The automatic recognition system of golf course and hole (They will be provided later in future). 

Receive satellite GPS :

- Smartgolf uses the Satellite GPS sign to obtain locational information 

- The information such as time and the locational information you take to send GPS sign could be different by function of GSP receiver in mobile phone or environment(such as weather).

Caution : 

1. You select Google Map somewhere except for in Korea and it recognizes GPS service automatically. 

2. Please select Daum Map in Korea and turn on GPS service manually. 

3. Battery Consumption

  - As the most important purpose of using App is to measure exact distance, it consumes fairly large amount

    of battery to provide exact information. 

  - Please turn it on when you have to obtain information on screen or manipulate it as much as possible.

    (In case of Galaxy Note4, it works with basic amount of battery)

  - Depending on status of battery, it could lack capacity. Therefore, please charge it to 100% before you use it. 

  - It would be much better if you prepare subsidiary battery.
